Mark calls Tommy Byrnes his "right-hand man" for good reason. This multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and producer has been Billy Joel's guitarist and musical director for the past 19 years. He was key in helping Billy and Twyla Tharp create the Tony Award-winning Broadway smash Movin' Out and served as the show's Musical Director during its long run. Tommy has toured and collaborated with rockabilly legend Brian Setzer, co-writing Setzer's hard-hitting "Barbwire Fence." His further extensive touring credits include artists as diverse as Enrique Inglesias and Joan Jett, and as a songwriter he's penned tunes for Mandy Moore and others.
