NYC-based guitarist/songwriter/singer/producer Steve Conte has been called "The Robert DiNiro of Rock 'n Roll." Currently the lead guitarist for the legendary New York Dolls (having taken over for the late, great Johnny Thunders), Steve has participated in both the Doll's historic reunion tour and a new 2006 studio recording,"One Day It Will Please Us To Remember Even This," with special guests Bo Diddley, Iggy Pop and Michael Stipe. Steve's ultra-soulful voice has been compared to Paul Rogers. His resume also includes recordings with with Peter Wolf ("Fool's Parade"), Maceo Parker ("Funk Overload") and a host of others. | ||
